If you are flying with Ryanair this evening or tomorrow, do bear in mind that Ryanair.com will be closed for upgrade work for 10 hours from 7pm tonight. It’s amazing what is on your doorstep - and what you never go to see - because we all tend to travel to be tourists, rather than be local tourists. However, when my mum visited from Cornwall she went to the Portland Basin Museum in Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside and urged us to take a look too - and we were delighted that we did. It seems that some travel companies have realised the benefits of using twitter when dealing with their customers - improving communications, including special offer information as well as dealing with customer complaints - and this makes it a much more cost effective option than us all having to call expensive customer service telephone lines. We had arranged a short break away before we got Bentley, our little Maltese/Poodle-cross. At just 4 months old, who would look after him? A puppy is very demanding so I didn’t really want to put the responsibility onto a friend or relative. The only answer would be finding a decent kennel so I started reviewing local ones.
