Twitter with the travel companies
It seems that some travel companies have realised the benefits of using twitter when dealing with their customers – improving communications, including special offer information as well as dealing with customer complaints – and this makes it a much more cost effective option than us all having to call expensive customer service telephone lines.
Brittany Ferries (www.twitter.com/BrittanyFerries) and EasyJet (www.twitter.com/easyJetCare) are just two of the companies who are successfully talking to their customers via twitter.
