Los Angeles is larger than life
It truly is. The people, the food, the distance from one thing to the next – everywhere you go, people are working out by running, riding their bike or walking. But if you want to see everything then you definitely need a car to get around.
Venice Beach is the hippy part of Los Angeles, where people sit out, singing for money, with bike shops and tattoo parlours on every corner. There is a fairground on the pier and street performers to watch. Food choices are vast: from Mexican food to the traditional New York Strip, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
For some organised attractions, why not try the original Disneyworld, Universal Studio or Hollywood itself?
